Award for Excellence in Consumer Education

In June 2008 Andrea Holwegner (President of Health Stand Nutrition Consulting Inc.) received a regional award by the Dietitians of Canada: The Speaking of Food & Healthy Living Award for Excellence in Consumer Education. The award was for her work with the 2008 Alberta Winter Games where she developed a program called “Nutrition Works!” to highlight the importance of nutrition for to almost 2500 developing athletes competing in the Games.

Andrea Holwegner, President of Health Stand Nutrition Consulting Inc. was profiled as a dietitian taking leadership to improve the nutritional health of Canadians.
