A Note From Andrea: Healthy Spring Planning Print
I love spring and look forward to seeing my rhubarb, perennial herbs and tulips come up every year. I would encourage you to grow something green this year either in planters, your backyard or at a community garden. For ideas on what to grow (even if you have little space) and how to find a community garden in your area check out my previous post here: Spring Nutrition: Grow Your Veggies.
If you have been hibernating over the winter, this is a good time to get outside and get going again on some outdoor fitness. If you need some motivation consider signing up for a charitable walk, fun run or bike race this summer. Check out hundreds of options here: walking/running events or cycling events.
How are you getting healthy this spring? Post your thoughts here on our blog.
