I love my Panini press because it offers our family a variety of sandwich options. It makes great hot Panini sandwiches and quesadillas that are ready in just a few minutes. I often use whole wheat Panini bread for sandwiches but any kind of bread works well. The sandwiches are warm and slightly crisp and leftovers can be heated up in the microwave or eaten cold. I make my grilled cheese sandwiches in the Panini press. Quesadillas are really simple with the Panini press. Take two wraps and put fillings on one side, top with the other wrap and place in the Panini press for a few minutes. Pictured are some recent quesadillas: 1) chicken, mozzarella cheese and kale; 2) leftover ground beef, fresh salsa, guacamole and shredded cheddar cheese. Next to try will be stuffed French toast– two pieces of French toast with brie cheese in the middle. Yum!
