Crunchy Kale Chips

Kale is a nutritional super-food and here is a simple and fun way to eat it!  If you are a fan of savoury crunchy snacks try this low-calorie way to eat your greens.

HSN Crunchy Kale ChipsMakes 8 servings

What you need:

1 large bunch of kale (approximately 16 cups loosely packed)
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 tsp. sea salt

 

How you prepare:

1.    Wash kale and remove the tough stems.  Tear kale leaves into bite-sized pieces.
2.    In a large bowl toss kale in olive oil and sea salt.
3.    Place kale in single layers on baking sheets and bake 20 minutes at 275 degrees F or until crisp (turning the kale halfway through).
4.    Serve as finger food immediately or within a few days.
