Overnight Oats with Prunes and Pears Recipe

Makes 1 serving

Registered Dietitian, Andrea Holwegner, developed this recipe for overnight oats, including some fall/winter flavours like pears and prunes, combined with almonds.

What you need:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 5 sliced prunes (divided)
  • 1/4 cup slivered almondsjar of overnight oats with dried plums and pears
  • 1/4 fresh pear, diced

How to make:

  1. Mix oats, almond milk, vanilla, maple syrup, hemp hearts, and 4 prunes in a jar, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  2. In the morning, top with remaining prune and fresh pear slices.

  • Calories – 619
  • Protein – 17.5 g
  • Carbohydrates – 90 g
  • Fat – 24 g
  • Fibre – 14 g
