Pumpkin Spice Waffle Recipe
Pumpkin Spice Waffles
Fall is on it’s way, and these delicious waffles are a great way to start off a cool fall morning. Make extras on the weekend to re-heat for a weekday delicious kickstart!
Ingredients:
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of ground ginger
- pinch of nutmeg
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 3 eggs
- 1 ½ cup milk
- ¾ cup canned pumpkin puree
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- Cooking spray
Topping ideas: 1/3 cup toasted, chopped pecans, Maple syrup
Directions:
Preheat waffle iron.
Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl. Whisk eggs, milk, pumpkin and butter in large bowl, stir flour mix in gently just until batter is combined.
Spray waffle iron with cooking spray, add batter and cook until waffled are set and golden brown. Serve with pecans and drizzled maple syrup.
