Pumpkin spice flavours are everywhere this time of year. From cereal, to lattes at the coffee shop, to a seasoning added to cinnamon buns.
But why not use pumpkin puree in your recipes? You can easily make your own from pumpkins grown in your yard, or just picked up at the store for farmers’ market. It’s also usually found at a great price around Thanksgiving. Beyond just the pumpkin spice flavours, pumpkin puree adds colour and texture to your food, and it’s delicious too!
